Terms of Service — LanceRoom

Acceptance. By creating an account you agree to these Terms. We record the date and version of the Terms you accepted. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

1. Parties & eligibility

These Terms are between you and Zabi Ul Hassan, based in Lahore, Pakistan, operating the service LanceRoom, contact [email protected]. "LanceRoom", "we", "us", and "our" mean the service; "you" means the person creating the account.

You must be 18 years old or over to use LanceRoom. If you sign up for an agency or a client, you warrant that you have the authority to do so and authority over the ad accounts you connect.

2. The service & its dependence on Meta

LanceRoom provides Meta ads analytics and AI recommendations: dashboards, breakdowns, anomaly flags, and suggestions based on your ad data. That is all it does today — it analyzes and recommends; it does not create, edit, or spend on ads.

Access is read-only, through a Meta access token that you supply. The service depends on Meta's Marketing API: if Meta changes, limits, or withdraws that API, LanceRoom's features may change, degrade, or stop working, and we are not responsible for Meta's decisions.

LanceRoom is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. Facebook™, Instagram™, and Meta™ are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. See also section 13.

3. Accounts & token security

You are responsible for your login credentials and for the Meta token you paste. Only connect ad accounts that you own or are authorized to manage. You may disconnect and revoke a token at any time, in the dashboard ("Disconnect & delete Meta data") or by removing LanceRoom in Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations.

LanceRoom will never ask for your Meta password. Anyone asking for it is not us.

Your account is personal to you. You are responsible for all activity under it, and for keeping your credentials confidential. We may limit the number of simultaneous sessions per login, and we may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of the terms of any connected platform (Meta, or any other platform you connect).
• Use data obtained through the platform ("Platform Data") for discrimination, or for eligibility decisions about credit, housing, employment, or insurance, or for surveillance, or to build profiles unrelated to the service.
• Access another customer's data, or attempt to bypass authentication or session controls.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the service, or resell access to your account without our written permission.
• Resell data obtained through the platform, or share or publish another customer's data.

5. Your data & license

You keep ownership of your ad data and of any content you create through LanceRoom. You grant us only the license needed to fetch, display, and analyze that data for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your data, and we do not share one customer's data with another customer.

6. AI outputs

Recommendations generated by AI are informational only — not financial or professional advice. They may be incomplete or incorrect, and they do not guarantee any result. Review every recommendation before acting on it; you are responsible for any change you make to your ad accounts. See the Privacy Policy for what is sent to our AI service provider.

7. Fees

The service is currently free during early access. Paid plans may be introduced later: the price, billing cycle, and what is included will be shown on the pricing page and again at checkout before you pay. A paid plan renews automatically for each billing period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in the dashboard, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If a paid plan offers a refund, the refund terms will be shown at checkout. No charge will ever start without a separate checkout consent from you. Free access today is not a promise that the service will remain free.

8. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We give no warranty of uninterrupted service, of the accuracy of data (ad data originates from Meta), or of fitness for a particular result. This section applies within the limits of consumer law that cannot be excluded.

9. Liability cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is capped at the subscription fees for the month in which the event giving rise to the claim occurred. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or wasted ad spend, or for decisions you make based on platform metrics or AI outputs.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under the law of the country where you live.

10. Termination & what happens to your data

Either side may terminate. You may stop using LanceRoom at any time by removing your connected accounts and asking us to close your login. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, or if Meta requires it.

On termination, your stored Meta token is deleted, and your Platform Data is deleted in line with the timelines in our Privacy Policy. Before closing your account you may disconnect your data and delete it yourself using "Disconnect & delete Meta data" in the dashboard or the Data Deletion page.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it by good-faith negotiation. If that fails, disputes will be resolved by arbitration or in the courts of Pakistan, for business customers.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under the consumer or data-protection laws of the country where you live that cannot be waived by contract.

12. Changes, notices, entire agreement, severability

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email, and we will ask you to accept the new version where required. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Notices to you will be sent to the email address on your account; notices to us go to [email protected].

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and LanceRoom for the service. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

13. Intellectual property & brand

LanceRoom owns the service, its software, and its branding. You own your data and content (see section 5). You may not copy, reproduce, or use LanceRoom's branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.

LanceRoom is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., or any other platform it connects to. Their names and logos are used only to describe the connection, and belong to their owners.
